Definition :

Short Functional text is interpreted asa text that gives information on things that concern your daily life.

Purpose : 

This short text has succinct information that serves the interests of the masses or of the general population. This short function may be used to provide information on a given directive or warning to the crowds. 

Types : 

- Invitation (undangan) 

- Greetings cards (kartu ucapan) 

- Announcement (pengumuman) 

- Advertisement (iklan) 

- Notice

-Invitation

Investasi serve to invite others to attend an event. In the invitation text, we should include the following:

 Clearly list the type of events, whether they are weddings, birthdays, sy, etc

 The address and time of the event

 Clear information about the bill

 If there must be a dress code, clearly put it in

 Example:

 His imperial majesty would like to invite all people of magicland to a ball.

 Place: the palace

 Sunday, January 13th of 6 PM to end.

 Dress code: suit and dress. 

Greetings Cards

A greeting card is a greeting card that functions to greet or say hello in the form of a card.

 A sample greeting card will match events as they unfold. Let's say happy birthday CARDS, congratulations on a promotion or congratulations on giving birth to a baby.

Announcement

Often while still in school there was an notice board with a huge amount of paper written on it. These are the various announcements that relate to student activities.

 The announcement in school is just one example, since the characteristics vary, it can be randomly made at work.

Advertisement

It's a fairly common advert whether it's in print or electronic. Who doesn't know advertising? Advertisements were needed in order to acquaint more people with certain businesses. Their shapes in the printing media vary considerably as from surveys, posters, leaflets, etc.

Notice

On the command notice, then its content was an injunction like ordering to remain silent in the library. "Notice is written and posted on specific areas" so that people can read it.
